During the Summer of 2016 & 2017 The Catskill Mountain Railroad hosted Steam excursions with visiting steam locomotive Viscose #6!
It operated on both sections of the CSMRR, The Phoenicia to Mt Tremper and the Kingston to Hurley Mountain line.
We captured the rare action on these scenic lines through the Catskill Mountains of Upstate New York . We see Viscose #6 haul tourist along the scenic right of way following the Espous Creek in Phoenicia and across the Hurley Flats over the former New York Central Catskill Branch!
