The Batten Kill Railroad operates on 30 miles of track in Up State New York, North East of Albany. Over the former Delaware & Hudson Greenwich Branch. The BKRR operates with two classic 1950's Era Alco RS3's.
In this production we cover operations from the Cargill plant in East Greenwich to the Pan Am interchange in Eagle Bridge. We capture Winter operations and Spring operations along the very scenic line in Washington County. We captured long trains that consisted of COVX Spine cars for storage on the BKRR and the usual Hopper consist. This Iconic all Alco Shortline is one of the most sought after Railroad's in the Northeast!
