In this production we cover one Maine's Narrow Gauge Railroads. The Wiscasset Waterville & Farmington Railway!
The WW&F operates on about 4 miles of two foot gauge track. From Sheepscot Station in Sheepscot to the top of the Mountain in Alna. We captured action from Sheepscot Station to Alna Center along this scenic and well maintaind right of way! We start off at the station at Sheepscot and capture action from the station to the Yard limits. Then we capture some scenic locations along the line to Alna Center. At Alna we capture some some very scenic shots of events over the Winter and Summer. Then we work our way back to Sheepscot Station.
We see action from Sandy River & Rangely Lakes #6 (Now WW&F #9) and Monson Railroad #3, And Plymouth Deisel #52.
This Railroad & Museum is a great tribute to the Narrow Gauge Empire that once ruled Central Maine!
