500-033 CONWAY SCENIC RAILROAD "HIGH & WIDE"
History was made on Saturday June 20th 2009 on the Conway Scenic Railroad, In the form of a freight movement for the Public Service of New Hampshire. Not only was this the first revenue freight movement since the early 1980's, it was a High & Wide transformer move from Hazen's to Depot St in North Conway on the Redstone branch. The transformer's were for the PSNH's Conway Sub station located in Conway, New Hampshire. The two transformer's were hauled on Schnabel Car's because of the size of the transformer's!
This was a Historic day indeed! Blackstone River Productions was there to capture this event from Hazens to Depot st in North Conway! We follow the train from Hazens all the way through Crawford Notch to Depot Rd on the Redstone Branch in North Conway. We capture the train in the most scenic and historic spots along the Crawford Notch and Valley line's including Fabyans, Crawford Notch, Notchland, Bartlett & North Conway.
