500-021 GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAIN RAILROAD "TUCKASEGEE RIVER" CAB RIDE
During the last two weeks of September and the first week of October 2007, The Great Smoky Mountain Railroad had the opportunity to break in the recently rebuilt North Carolina Transportation Museum's EX Southern FP7 #6133. It was used on the "Tuckasegee River" train from Dillsboro, NC to Bryson City, NC.
Blackstone River Productions was there to capture this event with a cab ride in #6133 and the beautiful scenery of Western North Carolina!
As we leave Dillsboro we travel alongside the Tuckasegee river for most of the way to Bryson City, crossing many scenic bridges, farms and meadows that make this area one of the most scenic parts of the Great Somky Mountains!
